Full Job Description:
Sprouted Sage Full Circle Intervention is a Comprehensive Intervention Center, dedicated to transforming the lives of children, adolescents and their families. At Sprouted Sage children and families can access a variety of services provided by a multidisciplinary team. This includes speech & occupational therapy, applied behavior analysis and support from a team of licensed psychologists and social workers. Our evidence based, nurturing approach within a naturalistic learning environment helps children develop communication, socialization, play, emotional regulation, self help and school readiness skills.

We are looking for knowledgeable, dedicated and passionate individuals ideally with experience working with toddlers and children. Qualities needed for this position include being kind and compassionate, positive, empathic, energetic and having great organizational skills. Behavior technicians duties and responsibilities include:

  • Implementing programming set forth by skilled, experienced Board Certified BehaviorAnalysts (BCBAs)
  • One-on-one and/or group therapy sessions in our center under the supervision of an educational specialist and a Board Certified Behavior Analyst
  • Collect and graph data in addition to the completion of a therapy note following each session with a child
  • Behavior technicians will be required to monitor the child’s skill acquisition progress and evaluate implementation of behavior intervention plans.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of program materials.
  • Assists in the completion of daily hygiene and toileting protocols as needed for each child.
  • Collaborate and communicate with a multidisciplinary team including Behavior
  • Analyst, Speech Therapist, Occupational Therapist, Social Worker, Educational
  • Specialist, and Psychologists
  • Attend supervision and team meetings

Behavior Technician’s qualifications and skills:

  • No prior Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) experience is required as we provide extensive initial and ongoing training to our team members.
  • You must have work or life experience with children, the ability to play, and a passion for helping others!
  • Attained high school diploma
  • Pass state and federal background checks
  • Possess ability to interact with children and families in a professional manner
  • Ability to lift at least 25 pounds frequently
  • Possess ability to engage in rigorous activity including, but not limited to, going up and down stairs, walking at a fast pace, and transitioning from floor-based activities to table-based activities quickly
  • Possess ability to walk and stand approximately 75% of the workday
  • Possess ability to bend, kneel, squat, crawl, pivot, and sit on floor throughout the workday
  • Possess ability to run or quickly move short distances (up to100 feet)
  • COVID-19: Must be fully vaccinated to apply
